Traditional Homes & House Posts

With guidance from Elders and Knowledge Keepers, our Many Voices, One Mind members, designed the Traditional Homes and House Posts Resource kit for children 0-6 years of age. The resource kit includes a wide range of materials, activities, traditional language, and protocols that is meant to be used within early childcare settings, throughout the seasons.

Users are encouraged to personalize the resource kit by adding their own teachings from their communities. We encourage you to find out the history and teachings that the children in your programs may have. This is a great way to bring your families together and teach the children the importance of who they are and where they come from.
